In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), the Interdyscyplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computer Modelling of the University of Warsaw (ICM UW) informs :
- 1. The Administrator of your personal data is the University of Warsaw, based at Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28, 00-927 Warsaw, Poland;
- 2. The Administrator has appointed the Data Protection Officer with whom you may contact in case of any questions related to the processing of your personal data at iod@adm.uw.edu.pl;
- 3. Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
- a. to identify you as a researcher,
- b. to evaluate your application,
- c. to enable you to access the ICM computational infrastructure,
- d. to report the research results done at ICM,
- e. to provide servicing of your user account,
- f. to e-mail you the necessary information related to reporting your results,
- g. to issue a call for applications and inform on its outcome.
- h. (if applicable) to enable you to access the ICM infrastructure for the personell of ICM UW

- 4. The legal basis for processing your personal data are:
- The Act "Ustawa prawo o szkolnictwie wyższym i nauce" from 20 July 2018 (DZ.U. z 2018 r. poz. 1668, z późn. zm.),
- "Rozporządzenie Ministra Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego w sprawie szczegółowych kryteriów i trybu przyznawania środków finansowych na utrzymanie aparatury naukowo-badawczej, stanowiska badawczego oraz specjalnej infrastruktury informatycznej oraz oceny raportu z ich wykorzystania" from 26 April 2019 (DZ.U. z 2019 r. poz. 893).
- 5. Provision of your personal data is voluntary, although necessary to provide the services for which they are being collected.
- 6. Your data will not be transfered to third party entities, except:
- a. in situations prescribed by law which includes entities appointed to monitor, report and control the grant realisation;
- b. for the purposes of application review;
- c. for the purposes of your software license verification, if required by the licensor.
- 7. The data will be stored for the period of grant realisation or for the period required by the institutions overseeing the activity of ICM UW.
- 8. You have the right to demand access to your personal data as well as the right to correct, delete, limit the processing of the data, object, or withdraw your consent at any time.
- 9. You have the right to submit a complaint to the relevant supervisory body – President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
- 10. Your personal data will not be subjected to automatic processing including profiling.
